Terneuzen is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area. The historic city of Middelburg, the port city Vlissingen and Goes are all about half an hour away by car. Of course, all accessible via the Westerschelde tunnel. The Belgian hinterland can be discovered from Terneuzen. The historic cities of Ghent, Bruges and Antwerp are all within one hours drive away.
